Listed Buildings.. yes they do
From Aberdeen to Dover we get this a lot...
1. " Do I need an EPC for my listed building"?
2. "Is my listed building exempt from an EPC"?
Listed or officially protected buildings are only exempt if the minimum energy performance requirements would unacceptably alter its heritage status. As many of the efficiencies would not ie. lighting, hot water, insulation I am afraid that the answer is often YES it does need an EPC
